Eric is a firmware engineer with more than 25 years experience working with embedded systems, primarily in data storage. He has worked on everything from boot code to product releases, and has interfaced with everyone from customers to VPs. He has been both a leader and an individual contributor, and his code is in millions of hard drives worldwide — perhaps even the one you’re using today. Eric received his MSEE from New Mexico State University in 1997 and has worked at places like Motorola, Seagate, and Western Digital. Eric volunteers with the City of Longmont advocating for victims of crime and trauma. In his free time, Eric has a wide range of hobbies, but particularly enjoys skiing, tennis, travel, and specialty coffee. Most especially, he loves spending time with his wife and two daughters.
